Cancellation Policy

We understand that travel plans can change. This Cancellation Policy explains your options for cancelling or rescheduling a confirmed booking with Old Delhi Food Tours, and the circumstances under which we may need to cancel or reschedule a Tour ourselves. This Policy forms part of our Terms & Conditions.
1. Cancellation by You
- More than 24 hours before the Tour start time: you are entitled to a full refund of the amount paid, less any payment gateway fees where applicable.
- Within 24 hours of the Tour start time: your booking is non-refundable. However, we will do our best to accommodate a one-time reschedule to another available date or time slot, subject to availability, at no additional cost.
To cancel or request a reschedule, please contact us as early as possible using the details in Section 7 below, quoting your booking reference.
2. Rescheduling
Reschedule requests are subject to availability of the new date and time slot you request. We will always try to accommodate a change in plans, but a new slot cannot be guaranteed, particularly during peak season or for bookings made close to the original Tour date. If no suitable alternative slot is available and the request falls outside the free cancellation window in Section 1, the original cancellation terms will apply.
3. Cancellation or Changes by Old Delhi Food Tours
On rare occasions, we may need to cancel, reschedule, or modify a Tour due to circumstances such as extreme weather, safety concerns, vendor unavailability, insufficient group size, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control. In such cases, we will notify you as soon as possible and offer you either:
- A full refund of the amount paid; or
- The option to reschedule to an alternative date or time slot at no additional cost.
We are not responsible for any incidental costs you may incur as a result of a cancellation or change on our part, such as travel or accommodation arrangements made independently of your Tour booking.
4. No-Shows
If you do not arrive at the meeting point within 15 minutes of the scheduled start time and have not notified us of a delay, your booking will be treated as a no-show and is non-refundable and non-reschedulable.
5. Refund Processing
Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method via Razorpay. Please allow 5–7 business days for the refunded amount to reflect in your account, depending on your bank or payment provider's processing times, which are outside our control.
6. Force Majeure
Neither party shall be held liable for failure to perform a Tour due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, extreme weather, government restrictions, civil unrest, strikes, or public health emergencies. In such events, we will offer a reschedule where possible or a refund in accordance with Section 3 above.
